Priority from the right

The default rule when nothing else is signed: give way to the right, and its exceptions.

1

Priority from the right

At this junction with no traffic signs or lights, the brown car coming from the right has priority over the light blue car and the green moped. Both must wait and give way before crossing.
The bright red car coming from the right has priority at this junction, regardless of whether it continues straight ahead, turns left, or turns right. The dark blue car must give way.
At this junction with no priority signs, the orange car coming from the right has priority over both the white car and the two-wheeler on the cycle lane.
The dark blue car on the right has priority, but it cannot cross because a line of cars blocks its path. The dark green car does not have to wait needlessly and may proceed.

Priority from the right

1 / 5
At a junction with no police, no lights, no priority signs, everyone (car, moto, moped, bike) gives way to the driver coming from the right. Exceptions: on a roundabout, or if that driver comes from a no-entry direction. It doesn't matter if they go straight, left or right. Even if they stop, they keep priority. If they are blocked by a line of cars, don't wait uselessly: go when it's clear.
ExampleA red car comes from your right at a junction with no signs. You wait, even if it only wants to turn right.
